| Bill Receipt and Presentment |
Flexibility of Input Formats. BillPort® supports data capture from multiple vendors and all media types (CD, EDI, .xls, and .csv files, magnetic tape, scanned images, mail attachments, paper). Invoice Insight adapts BillPort® to any ongoing changes in electronic billing formats.
Rapid Presentment. BillPort® date stamps, sorts, scans, loads, and presents invoices electronically for on-line approval within 2-3 business days of receipt by Invoice Insight.
Data Accuracy. Multiple layers of human and automated quality control procedures ensure exceptionally high levels of data accuracy. |

Automated
Application of Rule Sets. BillPort® validates content of invoices using configurable rule sets tailored to individual clients and vendors.
Exception Reporting. Unusual or erroneous billings
are identified and presented for review.
On-Demand Validation. Rule set validation may also be invoked on-demand to support periodic historical or "what if" analyses. |
| Allocation of Charges |
Highly Granular
Charge Allocation. BillPort® maps charges to accounts,
sub-accounts, phone numbers, employees, locations, and line items
as defined by the individual client.
Allocation Flexibility. BillPort® supports percentage allocations,
integration of third party data (e.g., PBX polling device dat) and
other cost allocation settings. Ad hoc cost allocations
can also be made to individual invoices. |

Exports to
Client Systems. Export formats are configured for compatibility
with client downstream systems. Interfaces can be event-driven,
time-driven, or on-demand.

Automatic Report Scheduling and Dissemination.
BillPort® can be configured to generate reports automatically,
with either event-driven or time-driven triggers. Reports can be
sent automatically to predetermined users or user-groups via e-mail. |

Analysis. The BillPort® audit subsystem analyzes contract
compliance on recurring charges, usage, and nonrecurring charges.
Budgeting and Forecasting. The budget manager subsystem enables the creation
of budgets and tracking and analysis of planned vs. actual expenditures.
Savings Analysis. The savings tracker uses an array of item, vendor, and service filters to enhance visibility into pending and realized savings.
Online Analytical Processing (OLAP). Should analysis require information beyond that provided by standard and customized reports, the OLAP tools provided with BillPort® enable users to conduct a wide variety of ad hoc analyses. |
